Seeking a creative Electronics Design Engineer to develop and test advanced lab equipment that merges hands-on electronics with impactful learning.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic circuits and systems for lab-based learning and data collection tools
Create and test functional prototypes using electronics prototyping platforms (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, etc.)
Develop detailed schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools
Evaluate system performance and conduct debugging, testing, and validation of electronic components
Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electronics into products
Select appropriate components and design for reliability, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency
Support fabrication and assembly teams by providing clear documentation and guidance
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, components, and tools in the electronics domain
Maintain thorough design documentation, version control, and BOMs throughout the product development lifecycle
Key Requirements
Solid foundation in electronics hardware and interface design
Strong understanding of circuit design, PCB design, and embedded system fundamentals
Hands-on experience with soldering, prototyping, and debugging tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
Ability to interpret datasheets, technical specs, and develop custom solutions based on project needs
Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and USB
Requirements
Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics design, prototyping, or manufacturing
